Megan Lavey-Heaton and I have officially been working on this for two years and then some. Our anniversary is October 5. We wouldn’t have made it this far if it wasn’t for you guys! We love you so much! Thank you thank you thank you!

I cried while scripting this page. I cried when I approved the sketches. I cried when I did the lettering/posting.
The Scarecrow’s speech should be familiar to those who’ve read “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.”

I cannot tell at all that Selva and Warrick are siblings. Not at all. ;) *sigh* “My brother’s a moron.”
Oh Warrick BB. I know they hurt Ozma when they die, but that’s because she loves them. Just wait until you get your very own “Dorothy” who will save you from the bad things like a proper hero and teach you to respect girls and then you can make out like a properly grateful distressed dude. You’ll understand how Ozma feels, although hopefully with less heartbreak.
Oh, Ozma. You poor pattern~ly obsessive bunny.
I am going to steal all of Renge’ clothes and Glinda’s headpiece.
Really, these commentaries on the comic are the best part of the day. Along with the tags.

It might not be obvious right away, but this chick is totally camping in the Wicked Warlock of the West’s castle.
It amuses me to no end.
Again, I’m loving how Isa and Meg are mixing in the original source material with their own takes. I haven’t had a chance to read the later Oz books, but I’m a little familiar with some stuff in the next couple books. So, knowing that, why are they in Warwick’s castle?
Of course, they have the Wicked Witch of the West as male, and the Good Witch of the North as a suspicious character. I should expect more fun twists.
Yes, there will be a lot more neat twists which I’m looking forward to writing out as well. Jinjur was a character I fell in love with and her arrival here was actually thanks to a throwaway line to Isa when I was writing the first draft of the scene. And KNITTING NEEDLES. That is beyond awesome.
