Absolutely! The original recipe comes from areyoumarriedriver. She calls them Skor shortbreads, but I used Heath toffee bits. Same thing. So, I call them toffee shortbread.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup of icing sugar (or powdered/confectioners sugar in the U.S.)
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup of cornstarch
• 3/4 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 package of toffee bits (Skor, Heath or whatever you can find)

Instructions:

• Preheat oven to 350.
• Blend the sugar, butter, and vanilla together until creamy.
• Sift the dry ingredients together or mix them by hand if you don’t have a flour sifter. Add to butter mixture slowly. If you use a hand mixer, use the dough hooks that come with it. Otherwise, use your stand mixer or hand-knead the dough. 
• Fold the toffee into the dough. I did it with my hands, which also gave me a chance to hand-knead the dough. Charina said you can also use crushed candy canes instead of toffee.  
• Use a tablespoon and measure out balls about an inch to an inch and a half wide. You can get 12 on a small cookie sheet and 16 on a large.
• Bake for 15 mins. Tops should not be brown, but the bottoms should be golden.
